Biopsychosocial Lab
Broadly speaking, my research seeks to better understand the myriad developmental processes that occur during adolescence and early adulthood in an effort to identify which individuals are at greatest risk for developing long-term emotional and behavioral problems. Because of the range of developmental changes and their interactions with one another, my research agenda bridges biological, social, developmental, and abnormal psychology. My primary areas of interest are:
Social neuroscience
Physiological psychopathology
Developmental psychopathology
Developmental endocrinology
I am currently working on building my research lab, so I am looking for undergraduate research assistants to work with me on a volunteer basis (for credit or not for credit).
If you have a specific project in mind that does not directly match up with one of the studies I have going on, let me know! I'm always happy to mentor student researchers, even if it's unrelated to my research.
If you are interested in working with me, please email me at: saczawa[at]hanover[dot]edu.
